I’m an all or nothing type of guy, and have decided enough is enough. I have given myself 30 days to try to force a lifestyle change. During those 30 days, I will be changing my lifestyle for the better, with the hope that I can then continue with these changes once the 30 days is up. I am only setting myself small goals at the moment, but I’ll keep you updated on those goals, and my achievements as I go on with my journey.
My 30 Day Challenge
I have decided that I need to make a change to my lifestyle, that will dictate the way I live my life from now on, and there are three areas of my new lifestyle that I need to tackle:
- Eating.
- Drinking.
- Exercise.
These three changes should dramatically lower body fat, and make me feel a whole lot healthier.
I have given myself an initial target of 30 days to stick to these lifestyle changes. Once the thirty days are up, I’ll reward myself with something I have missed (but be sensible), and then set myself another target. My goal is get below 100 Kg (220 lb), for the first time in years. Once I have achieved that, I’ll have the motivation to reach my 90 Kg target. Besides my weight loss goals, I have fitness goals too, but more on those, later in this "journal".
I am going to post my progress here on my site, so anyone can follow, and hopefully get some inspiration. If you are looking to change your lifestyle, you might like to bookmark this site now.
On July 27th, I start my 30 day makeover.
Here is my before pictures:
Pretty horrendous!
I am only going to be weighing in twice a week. Bathroom scales, and daily weight fluctuations just make a daily weighing impractical. If there have been dramatic changes, I’ll post updated photos too!
