Which Treadmill To Choose?

When deciding to buy a treadmill it is hard to know which brand to buy. There are so many different treadmill brands to compare. When making a treadmill brand comparison you need to keep in mind price, quality, and function.

One top producer of treadmills is a company called Icon Health and Fitness. Icon produces such treadmills as Reebok, Proform, Nordic Track, Image, and Weslo. These all are included in the top ranked treadmill. Icon offers treadmills in a variety of styles and prices. For example, Weslo is the least expensive they offer, while Nordic Track offers the more expensive treadmills.

The Image 1200 treadmill has many features people look for including the capability to fold and store, programmable workouts, and speed and incline choices. Reebok has been known to be less durable than the other brands, but is a popular home treadmill for its name alone. Another brand of treadmills to compare is Smooth. Smooth offers a 10-year warranty on the motor and a 12-year labor warranty. The Smooth treadmill has been called the best value treadmill. For under $2000, you get programmable workouts along with many other features. The Trimline brand offers a good treadmill for around $1000, or you can upgrade to a better one for about $2000. This well-known brand should be considered when making treadmill brand comparisons. Other brands to consider may include Keys, Spirit, Landice, and Cybex.

Do your research online or by asking a clerk at a fitness store to find the best treadmill for your needs. Treadmills are not a small investment so take your time to make sure you choose correctly.
